It’s good to see some of my previous computer graphic design students getting involved in doing positive things in our community! This is Enrique Perez (Mr. Perez from room #103 at CVHS for some)
I ran into your website while looking for things related to CVHS and I’m glad I did. Your coverage of events related to the eastern valley is really impressive.! You see, years ago, Before I became your Photoshop teacher, I was involved in something similar to your publication. It was called “Que Nuevas”
(Whats new?) This bi-monthly newspaper was published in both english and spanish. We were the first ones to tap into the Eastern valley with positive news and events! I was in charge of high school sports back then and the graphic design and development of it too. It was challenging but rewarding! My work led to me becoming a graphic design teacher in the long run; but my experience in the journalistic venture “Que Nuevas” not only gave me more work experience but opened the doors to understanding our Coachella Valley and what it means to be a part of it.
While still teaching I moonlight as a technology app developer after school. If this is something your team is interesting in researching for your next project, please feel free to contact me (phase40)

Congratulations on your amazing work. It is truly impressive to see such a young group of brilliant and passionate advocates in Coachella Valley!

Please allow me to introduce myself as the new Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) Community Outreach Representative for the Coachella Valley. I came across your FB page and quickly became interested in learning more about UNINC.

IEHP is a not-for-profit health plan serving adults and families with children in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. We work with various community based organizations in the Inland Empire to promote health awareness and provide valuable health care information to the community. We also provide our partners with fun health education comic books, coloring books, school supplies and other fun promotional items for children, teens, and adults

Please let me know if there is any way that we can collaborate to help in your goal of building a healthy Eastern Coachella Valley. If at all possible, I would love to schedule a time to meet in person and get to know more about each others work in the community.
