Participants must be:

* A high school or college student

* A resident of Coachella or the unincorporated communities of the Eastern Coachella Valley

* Interested in journalism

* A team player

* Willing to learn

* Able to meet deadlines

Experience is not required, and all student reporters will receive stipends for their work.
