INDIO, Calif. – Assemblymember V. Manuel Pérez invites the community to attend an Open House & Toy Drive on Monday, December 17, to benefit The Galilee Center.

The Galilee Center, which serves needy families and children of the Eastern Coachella Valley, will distribute the toys to eligible families this holiday season.

“This is a great opportunity to share some holiday cheer with residents and community leaders, at the same time we will be collecting toys for a great cause,” said Pérez.  “During the holiday season it’s especially hard to make ends meet, and I hope that we as a community can help a little and bring some comfort to those who are struggling.

Attendees are asked to bring an unwrapped toy. The event will be held from 6-8 p.m. at  Soul of Mexico, 44-100 Jefferson Street, Suite E#502.
